Dr. Dixon is a member of True Holiness Temple Inc. Churches under the leadership of Chief Apostle Dr. Gloria J. Lewis.   She is a former member of the Resurrection Baptist Church, where she served faithfully for 32 years under the Late Rev. James Nelson Walker. Her service included 25 years as superintendent and instructor of youth ministries.

With over 40 years as a federal employee, she has received over 35 service awards, from the United States Navy, the Social Security Administration and the Social Security Administration Office of the Inspector General, Office of Investigations.

Because of her years of dedicated service to the church as well as to the community, she is the recipient of several Community, Congressional, Mayoral and Christian Service awards.

Over 50 years in ministry has produced a faithful kingdom-oriented servant of God.  After being directed of the Lord, Dr. Dixon founded The Living Word Evangelistic Missionary Church Inc. in 2014, an affiliate church of True Holiness Temple Inc.

Dr. Dixon was licensed as a Minister of the Gospel in July 2000 and ordained as an Elder in June 2003.  She was appointed to the board of Presbytery of the True Holiness Temple Inc. churches in 2004. On July 1, 2017, Chief Apostle Dr. Gloria J. Lewis along with the distinguished gathering of Bishops, consecrated Dr. Dixon as the organizations 2nd Vice Bishop Prelate with an apostolic succession to Apostle.

To her credit, she has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, a Master of Arts in Biblical Literature, a Doctor of Theology, and a Doctor of Divinity degree.

Dr. Dixon is a worshipper and has dedicated her life to the service of the Lord and His people.
