Statement of Faith

GOD

We believe there is only One God (Deut 6:4); Elohim the Creator of the Universe, all living beings and all that is in it. (Genesis 1:1, John 1:3, Isaiah 40:28). There was no God formed before Him; neither shall be there any after Him (Isaiah 43:10).

We believe that this one, true, ever-living Eternal God is a Spirit, Holy in nature, infinite in wisdom, possessing absolute power and authority.

We believe God has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), and the son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit). We believe that he is Elohim, a plural God in singular form.

We believe it is impossible to come to the Father by any other means than through the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

We further believe the Holy Spirit has come to glorify the Son and to convict the world concerning sin, and righteousness, and judgment (Matt 28:19, John 1:1-14, Deut 6:4, John 14:1-31, Col 1:15-19, Col 2:9, Heb 1:1-14).

SALVATION

We believe that salvation is only through the completed work of Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross.  Salvation is not obtained through works or any act of man but through faith and faith alone. (Eph 2:8-9)

We believe that Christ died for our sins, that he was buried and that on the third day he was bodily resurrected.

We believe that Jesus Christ is coming back to earth, just as He went away (Acts 1:11).

We believe in the rapture of the church, that the Lord Jesus will catch away (His bride, His church), those who are found faithful when He returns. (I Thessalonians 4:16-17).

We believe that salvation consists of deliverance from all sin and unrighteousness through the blood of Jesus Christ.

We believe in repentance and that it is not only being Godly sorry for the committed sins but is also a turning away from sin and a turning to God.

We believe repentance to be Intellectual (the awareness of the presence of sin in our lives), Emotional (sorrow, regret, remorse with the understanding that sin is committed against God and separates us from him) and Volitional (a genuine turning away from sin and turn towards God).
